Cephalic Carnage is a musical group formed in Denver, Colorado in 1992. Cephalic Carnage coined their own term for their music, Rocky Mountain HydroGrind. They blend jazz, experimental music, death metal, doom metal, sludge and grindcore into their own unique sound. They have developed a reputation as a very intense live band and tour regularly throughout the United States and Europe. Their first European show took place in Germany in summer of 2003 and their first European tour followed in October of 2003 at the Fuck the Commerce festival. They are currently signed to Relapse Records and have released four albums on Relapse to date. They have also released one album on another label for a total of five albums. They are currently on the US Summer Slaughter tour. They will also tour Australia before the year is out, supporting The Black Dahlia Murder.

It was 1987 when patrick klopf (git,voc) and martin messner (drums) decided to form disharmonic orchestra. 2 demos were released in 1988 “the unequaled visual response mechanism” and “requiem for the forest”. 1989 Disharmonic orchestra released with labelmates pungent stench the legendary split lp. Disharmonic orchestra always wanted to be different in every way. They have been one of the most innovative bands in the grind and death metal genre. Albums like “expositionsprophylaxe” 1990 and “not to be undimensional conscious” 1992 proved how different grindcore and death metal could sound like. 1994 they released their 3rd album “pleasuredome” on steamhammer records, which was a major step ahead both musically and technically.
2002 disharmonic orchestra released their forth album "ahead" on nuclear blast records.

Carbonized were a Swedish death metal band. They later developed into psychedelic grindcore and gradually became more and more avant garde. Their final album Screaming Machines was a psychedelic and dissonant sounding metal album and was, at least at the time of the release, one of the most unconventional records ever released.
The band never formally split up, but have made no music since 1996. All of the members have played or still play in Therion.
