Volbeat is a danish quartet, formed in 2001 from the ashes of Dominus, who plays a style of music you can describe as “Metallic Rock n’ Roll”. They have been compared to Life of Agony, but to give an understanding of their music, try to imagine a powerful mix of Metallica and Elvis Presley. The hard and fast riffs blend with splendid melodies in a vitalizing music that should be interesting for all rock and metal fans. Volbeat is one of the great bands in Danish music, and has been welcomed as such by both critics and fans.

Waltari is a musical group from Finland. Waltari is known for its diversity and combination of music styles, frequently combining punk, pop, heavy metal, rock, techno, funk, progressive rock and rap. It is this diversity, as well as singer/bassist and band co-founder Kartsy Hatakka’s extremely distinctive voice, that gives Waltari its unique sound. Most of the band’s music is written by Hatakka. Waltari’s lyrics often deal with personal feelings of anxiety, loneliness and the cruelty of the world, often with heavy irony and sarcasm.

Doomsword is an epic doom metal band from Italy. Founded in 1997 by Deathmaster (previously a member of the metal band Agarthi), the band released their first demo the same year, before going on to release four albums (as of 22 June 2007). Mixing the slow, heavy sound of doom metal with the folk-like and battle driven sounds of viking metal to create the musical sound of a battlefield.

Freak Kitchen is a heavy metal/hard rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1992. The high technical level of their compositions usually makes people refer to their style as somewhat of a progressive metal or progressive rock band.
Freak Kitchen's style of music is influenced by many genres besides the traditional heavy metal, ranging from jazz to pop. The band described their third album as "A corny little heavy-pop-rock-latin-world-jazz-avant-garde-metal-blues-record".
Lyrics contain heavy criticism against capitalist society, conformity, racism and the attitude of huge record companies.
Frontman Mattias IA Eklundh is widely known as a guitarist of high technical ability, and live shows often contain parts where Eklundh plays the guitar using several foreign objects such as a vibrating dildo. Eklundh has also released three solo albums, Sensually Primitive (1997) (under the pseudonym Mr. Libido), Freak Guitar (1999) and The Road Less Traveled (2004).
