Technical Death Metal

Man Must Die formed in October 2002 in the underbelly of Glasgow, Scotland. It became evident that after the first rehearsal that something special was brewing, the songs practically wrote themselves and the intensity was devastating, four songs were quickly written and recorded in May of 2003. The band immediately set out to make a name for themselves by playing shows throughout the United Kingdom. One song was placed on the then MP3.com site and within two weeks, hit number one on the worldwide Death Metal chart.

Conceptual heavy prog band with a strong, intricate music, with a wide spectrum of feels and textures. The keyboards give the final touch, and the guitars are extremely heavy and crunchy. As a matter of fact, these Italians are, the most innovative and original contemporary progressive band.

Technical/Progressive Death Metal

Gorod, formerly known as Gorgasm (not to be confused with the US death metal band) is a Technical Death metal band from France, formed in 1997. Initially started as a 3-piece, when it came time to record a demo in 2000, a second guitarist was added. Their debut full-length, Neurotripsicks, via Willowtip Records was released in 2001.
This is extremely technical death metal at its absolute finest, with the follow up to Neurotripsicks, Gorod have number-crunching spider-fingered death metal sweepstakes with Leading Vision released in 2006 on Willowtip records
