Hi guys,
just to let you know that we are extremely disappointed that you are offering our music as a free download! Downloading is obviously not solely responsible for the general slump in CD sales – that would be too easy. IMO, it nevertheless plays a significant role, and I’m sure that bands like IQ, alias eye etc will disappear off the face of the earth soon if people don’t change the way they comsume music. When you’re only selling a couple of thousand CDs in the first place, even a 100 downloaded copies (people who would have originally bought the CD, as opposed to the 1000s who download and wouldn’t have bought a CD anyway) is keenly felt. Perversely, people are actually harming the people they admire the most: the artists. So please, support the music you like and buy our CDs instead of downloading them!
